Graduation

Although this happened in May, I still had to post the pictures because they are too cute! Cameron had her pre-k graduation from Kindercare, where she has gone to "school" since she was one. It will be so different not taking her there after she starts kindergarten. She will definitely miss all the teachers & friends she's made over the past 4/12 years!

When her teacher called her up to the podium (lego table) he said that some of Cameron's favorite things to do at school were to "play with her friends and take good naps"! Ha...she is such a sleeper! She also told her teacher that when she grows up she wants to "build big houses for people". Her aspirations have changed a few times since then. Right now she is undecided. :)

Busy Weekend

Sue & Katie came in town this weekend to watch the girls while Justin & Brennon were at the lake celebrating Johnny's birthday. Happy 30th Johnny! We had a great time with them and kept pretty busy. Friday night Sue cooked a broccoli & chicken casserole that was SO good! The girls completely wore themselves out and Cameron was pretty exhausted by the time we got home.

On Saturday, Sue & I took all 3 girls to have their pictures made and they did such a great job. They are all growing up way too fast! Here are just a few of the cute pictures they took....

And Savannah was done! HA! Jeff made really good steaks Saturday night and then we all had some cake from a bakery that was right by the picture place. We'll definitely have to go back & sample the cupcakes :)

On Sunday, we went to the outlet mall in Allen and did some shopping. Cameron got some school clothes and of course little brother got an outfit, too. It was SO hot and pretty crowded for a Sunday afternoon but we all survived! Only 7 weeks left..... :)

Daddy's Girl

Cameron is such a daddy's girl! Everytime he comes home from a trip, her face lights up & she runs to give him a big hug! No matter what time he comes in, she instantly wants to play and he usually goes along with whatever she wants to do. She misses him the minute he leaves & we always count down the days until he comes back.

One of my favorite pictures of Jeff & Cameron

The past few weeks, he has been leaving her sweet notes telling her he hopes she has a great week, that he loves her and to be nice to her mommy :) Ha! Last night I made mistake of telling her that I thought her eyes were more greenish than blue and she had a meltdown. She said she didn't want green eyes....she HAD to have blue eyes like daddy! I finally got her to calm down by telling her Jeff would check them out when he got back home. Talk about drama queen!

Finally!

I have officially been suckered into the blog world! I'm hoping this is a fun way for our family & friends to keep up with what is going on in our lives. Originally, I was going to start blogging about our family once Baby Boy Sterna was born; however, I wanted Cameron to have the spotlight for a few weeks before the baby madness starts!

Although she has been involved in gymnastics for almost a year now, her first team sport will be soccer! Since Jeff knows more about it than I do, he was in charge of buying socks, shoes, shin guards, etc. Her season starts at the end of August and we are anxiously waiting to see what team she will be on, which we should find out about in the next few weeks. Below is a picture of her with some of her gear on...

Until that begins, we are busy getting ready for KINDERGARTEN! We can't believe she is going to school already! She & I bought some supplies over the weekend and I have to say, I was probably more excited than she was. I love buying school supplies!! We are now on the hunt for a backpack & lunchbox....I have no doubt they will be purple!

Today, Cameron was able to come to my 32 week appointment with me (Jeff is working in Branson this week). She was very excited to hear her brother's heart 'beeping'! :) He is much more active than Cameron was and showed that today when the doctor had to try three different times to get his heartbeat. I have no doubt he will continue to be a wild child after he is born...only 8 more weeks! We can't wait to meet you little brother!
